Power points are based on the following evaluation scale:
Victory over
1st Division Team = 50 pts
2nd Division Team = 45 pts
3rd Division Team = 40 pts
Loss to
1st Division Team = 38 pts
2nd Division Team = 33 pts
3rd Division Team = 28 pts
A first division team is a team which has won more than 66% of its games played.
A second division team is a team which has won at least 34% but not more than 66% of its games.
A third division team is a team which has won less than 34% of its games played.
A team's point rating will be determined by dividing the total number of points by the number of games played.
Playoff Procedures
The top eight teams as determined by power points will make the playoffs.
- The furthest four eastern teams, by the ruler method, will make up the east bracket and the remaining four will be the west bracket for the first round. Each bracket will be seeded #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3, with the higher seed hosting the game.
- The power points will be recalcualted after the first round of playoff games and the teams will be reseeded #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3, regardless of geography. Home teams for this round will be determined by NSAA rules.
- Finals will be played by the second round winners at UNK.
